Pilot John Stanbridge describes the feeling of reaching the bobsleigh World Championships, a dream 10 years in the making!
A incredible round up to an amazing comeback season for the Pilot and the team. Securing multiple wider podiums on the European cup in Lillehammer and Sigulda at the start of the season. This has seen the team go from strength to strength on an inspirational journey to make their World cup debut in St Moritz with a 19th place finish to a career best of 14th place and inside the top 15.
This has led to the unbelievable position of being selected for the World championships only 13 months after a serious injury put Stanbridge's dreams of competing in doubt.

A top 20 position was the goal for Bob Team Stanbridge as they competed at the biggest competition of the season.
The team finished 23rd out of 28 sleds just outside the Top 20 by a few tenths of a second. Putting down their best run in the 3rd heat which would of placed them 19th.
"It was an amazing experience to be at a World championships, we've developed so much over the last few months, I'm incredibly proud of what we have achieved as a team and cannot wait to come back next year stronger and faster!"
